Universal Studios hired director Gore Verbinski to adapt the board game “Clue” into a feature.
Verbinski is kind of awesome. He made the first “Pirates of the Caribbean.” He also made “The Weather Man” starring Nicholas Cage, which was pretty good even though no one saw it.
I’m actually kind of interested in this moreso than the recent announcement of a “Candy Land” adaptation. “Clue” actually has a story. Plus, with Verbinski directing, he’s bound to get a couple stars and a good script in place. It could turn out to be a decent, quirky detective story if all the pieces fall into place.

theres already a clue movie from like 1985, its really very entertaining, its just about the best comedy ive ever seen. Will they be working of that movie or coming up with a new storyline?
