Another freakin’ movie films in Decatur

There’s another movie shooting in Decatur. Leave it to Atlanta’s coziest suburb to attract so much film action it becomes kind of annoying, particularly if you feel obligated to write about it. This feels increasingly like tallying waves on a beach.

Hollywood’s back with the film “Shrinking Charlotte,” according to the good folks over at The Decatur Minute, the city’s blog. It’s a romantic comedy. Billy Zane and Kathleen Turner are in it.

Go Decatur. What a coup.

Your success bores me.

(All things considered, though, this is pretty fantastic news for the state and the city.)

Agreed. I just embraced the annoyance I felt when I saw the city’s posting and thought, “Crap. Another one of these things? I guess I should put that on this damn blog.”

I also forgot to write about “The Blind Side,” which was here two months ago.
