Danny Trejo prepares to dismember people on camera with huge-ass jungle knives

Some fella who runs a blog called Gordon and the Whale apparently shook down Danny Trejo at a Las Vegas film festival, and Trejo dropped the beans about the coolest B-movie concept I’ve heard of in years: Robert Rodriguez is actually gonna make “Machete,” a feature film expansion of his fake trailer that was lodged in between “Planet Terror” and Quentin Tarantino’s “Death Proof” in their 2007 “Grindhouse” double feature.

Danny Trejo, ‘Eyeborgs,’ people I knew in S.C.

When I lived in South Carolina near Savannah, Ga., I kept running into people who had worked on this movie called “Eyeborgs,” a sci-fi action movie about walking, robotic security cameras created in the wake of a Sept. 11-style attack on the United States. Eventually, the cameras go rogue and start killing people and whatnot, and Danny Trejo appears to be the only guy insane enough to anticipate the change.
