UPDATE NO. 2: Barry Schwartz informed me Todd Phillips made “The Hangover.” The name meant nothing to me.
“Cribbs, it’s the guy who made ‘Old School.’ ‘Road Trip.’ He’s got a good track record. You want your blog to be big, right?”
“Not big. Regional,” I said.
“You gotta be on top of that.”
“I don’t like Todd Phillips. I don’t like those movies. But when I get bigger we’ll have graphics with these things.”
And so we will.

“The Hangover” popped up on Apple Trailers last week, and I ignored it because it was called “The Hangover,” and it had three guys in an elevator, and one of them carried a baby. It looked like another stupid indie comedy. It looked like a low-budget piece of junk that some mediocre commercials or television director pawned off on the public, financed for about $250,000, featuring good actors trying their best with mediocre material.
